The Weeknd tries to connect with true love in his apocalyptic video for “Belong To The World,” off his forthcoming sophomore album Kiss Land. The eight-minute clip shows the singer in a dazed and confused state as he searches for his girl in a bleak, futuristic world, the chilling, percussion-heavy track playing in the background all the while.

But the new video doesn’t come without controversy! The Toronto-bred singer is well-known for using samples, yet this time he’s facing some backlash. Portishead‘s Geoff Barrow claims The Weeknd went ahead and used a bit of “Machine Gun,” despite permission being denied. The band’s instrumentalist took to Twitter to vent his frustrations, calling the incident “a load of bollox.”

Barrow went on to tweet, “When someone asks to sample you and you refuse they should have the respect as a fellow artist to not use it,” and “We usually give sample clearance to  tunes we like. its got fuk all to do with money! As most of them are hiphop artist that are skint.”
