Nicki Minaj Twerks It Out In Busta Rhymes’ “#TwerkIt” Music Video
It’d be hard to find a video released this year in which Nicki Minaj wasn’t twerking. Alas, the hip hop mogul is back at it in the music video for Busta Rhymes aptly-titled “#TwerkIt” from Busta’s upcoming E.L.E. 2.
In the voluptuous clip, helmed by Director X, Busta takes it to the club with some of his famous friends like Pharrell, DJ Khaled and Swizz Beatz for a good time and an exorbitant amount of butt-shaking. Miss Minaj appears halfway through, delivering her verse with major sass and giving the dancehall-inspired track some island-flavor, before showing off some twerk skills of her own. Both Busta and Minaj perform the track in their best Jamaican accents, which seems a bit ridiculous at first, but ultimately turns out to be whole lot of fun.
The Pharrell-produced “#TwerkIt” is the lead single from E.L.E. 2, which is expected to be out later this year. Check out the video up top.
