“Surf’s Up” From ‘Teen Beach Movie’ Gets A Perky, ’60s-Flavored Video: Watch
Teen Beach Movie is Disney’s latest stab at recreating that High School Musical magic and it’s been surprisingly successful so far. The premiere attracted 8.4 million viewers and spawned a successful soundtrack, which debuted at number 8 on the Billboard chart this week.
“Surf’s Up” has been tapped as the project’s first single and should make waves (pun intended) with its summery vibe and cute, retro video. Stars Maia Mitchell and Ross Lynch take center stage but this is a group effort with all cast members dancing up a storm. Watch the Annette Funicello-tastic visual up top.
