In a recent interview, Miley Cyrus admitted that “We Can’t Stop” does, in fact, reference the drug molly, like it ain’t no thang. (Check out the lyrics if you’re still in denial.) In that same interview, Cyrus also said that MTV forced her to censor much of the wild video. “They took out literally everything. I thought the video wasn’t bad, then MTV in the UK sent, like, 18 notes asking for changes,” she told the Daily Mail. “The world is such a fucked up place the last thing people need to worry about is my cute little video for ‘We Can’t Stop,’ you know what I mean?”

Today (July 29), we can see what some of the fuss was about, as the star has debuted the “We Can’t Stop” director’s cut. So how much more explicit is it? Not much! From what we can tell, there’s more simulated sex, one oral sex gesture near the end and actually less Miley tongue overall. But hey, it gives us another reason to watch a fry skull get mashed, as well as all the other oddities, so we’ll take it!
