Daft Punk To Make Rare TV Appearance On ‘The Colbert Report’ Next Week

Daft Punk will be making a rare television appearance, appearing on the August 9 episode of The Colbert Report. The appearance will include a performance, as it’s part of Stephen Colbert‘s “Colbchella” concert series, but no word on whether the French Robots will sit and chat with the satirical talking head.

As is customary with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, there are plenty of other questions surrounding the gig. For instance, if they perform “Get Lucky,” will Pharrell be joining them? And will they be in a sketch? Colbert made a random appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, showing up for a minute to dance to “Get Lucky” without saying a word, and MTV hypothesizes that it could be part of a Colbert Report sketch involving the duo.

Guess we’ll find out Tuesday at 11:30 p.m.
