Best Cover Ever?

Gabrielle Aplin broke big in the UK late last year when her beautiful cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood‘s “The Power Of Love” topped the charts, so it’s shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that she does a magnificent job reinventing One Direction‘s record-breaking “Best Song Ever” for BBC’s Live Lounge.

The talented 20-year-old strips the song back to its bare bones, turning it into a melancholy folk ballad. It’s a testament to her beautiful voice, interpretive skills and the underlying quality of the song that it sounds this good performed in a completely different style. Watch Gabby in action up top.
