CHVRCHES Get Galactic In “The Mother We Share” Video: Watch

CHVRCHES are on the rise, aren’t they? The Glawegian synthpop outfit recently unveiled the tracklist for their upcoming debut LP The Bones Of What You Believe, and now they’ve unveiled a splashy, rather expensive-looking video for their very excellent single “The Mother We Share.” Trippy, atmospheric footage of Lauren Mayberry and company is intercut with a beautifully shot narrative following a lost-looking girl through the streets of New York City as she people-watches, which seems pretty sleepy.

But there’s a third-act twist to the video that’s sincerely chill-inducing, as the spaced-out style of the band footage gets transferred to the main narrative in a sequence that’s nothing short of electrifying.

Watch it up top. It’s super great.
