Fergie Is A Flapper In “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)” Video: Watch
Well! A new Fergie video is a new Fergie video and there’s no way around that. At the same time, I don’t think anyone’s ever going to say that her Great Gatsby soundtrack cut “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)” is up there with her finest work. It’s certainly no “Glamorous.” If anything, it’s more like the equivalent of the blanket line from “Big Girls Don’t Cry” brought to life in a full music video. (I don’t know how else to explain it.)
So! Alongside her friends Q-Tip and Goonrock, Fergie dons a flapper outfit for a big, grand Gatsby-esque party and gets pretty turnt up. It does the job, I suppose.
That said? Fergie, it’s really, mostly just time for another solo album. Bring it on.
