Somebody Has Already Remixed Lady Gaga’s “Aura” And It Sounds Less Jarring Than The Demo

The internet is a weird and wonderful place. Less than 24 hours after leaking, Lady Gaga‘s poorly-received “Aura” demo has been remixed by a gent called Matt Nevin and, for what is clearly a rush-job, it actually sounds more cohesive and catchy than the original. So snaps for that.

Speeding up the BPM and toning down the disconcerting intro does wonders for the song. Perhaps this is an insight into how the ARTPOP track could be improved when cleaned up and mastered? Anyone else think this sounds like a mash of “Government Hooker” and “Judas”? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
