Taylor Swift Performs With Cher Lloyd & Sara Bareilles (Separately) In Los Angeles Concert: Watch

Taylor Swift has been a busy bee, hasn’t she? For the first night of her banner four consecutive nights bringing her Red Tour to Los Angeles’ Staples Center (all sold out, obviously — which makes her the artist to sell out the most shows at the Staples Center), she brought out some big guns by way of talent.

First pint-sized British songbird Cher Lloyd stepped out to perform “Want U Back” — a little late to the party, Tay, but still a sweet song, and very on-brand for the demo. (Pop nerd fun fact: The same producer, Shellback, helmed “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “22” and “Want U Back.”) It was a sweet and energetic performance. Big ups to both of them.

Perhaps more affecting, though, was when Taylor brought out Sara Bareilles to perform the latter songbird’s recent hit “Brave,” which is just so, ugh, perfect and inspirational and on-the-nose for Taylor’s specifically self-affirming message.

Watch her set with Cher up top, then see the Bareilles performance below.
