Kanye West Sued Following LAX Paparazzi Incident Thanks To Corny Celebrity Attorney Gloria Allred
Police decided not to file felony charges against Kanye West for his July run-in with a paparazzo — which was quite literally the least-physical physical altercation ever to involve a celebrity and a photographer, as you can see from the smiling pap above — but the rapper is about to be hit with a lawsuit nonetheless. Something called Dano, who is known for provoking celebrities so that he can profit from their missteps and who has a mononym so you know he’s classy, has decided to take matters into that shadowy, alternate justice system known as the civil courts. To do this, he hired the famous, exhausting Gloria Allred as representation in this truly traumatic matter. Of course he did.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Allred will hold a press conference this afternoon (August 21) to lay out the case and scold celebs like Cher who came out in support of West. It’s been a few years since Allred got all that Tiger Woods sex scandal promo, so she’s probably pretty feisty and anxious to get back to working hard for the cameras justice.
In summation: everything is embarrassing.
