2 Chainz And His Entire Tour Bus Were Arrested By The Drug Squad In Oklahoma Last Night
Why won’t 2013 let 2 Chainz be great? First the rapper was involved in a robbery in San Francisco, then arrested for marijuana possession in Maryland and now he’s been locked up — along with all 10 passengers on his tour bus — by the drug squad in Oklahoma following the latest stop of the America’s Most Wanted tour with Lil Wayne and T.I..
According to a local newspaper Tity Boi and his 10 traveling companions were arrested late last night (August 21) and brought to the Oklahoma county jail by police officers. As yet, it’s unclear what the MC has actually been charged with. Police Sergeant Jennifer Wardlow is reported as saying the arrests were due to “interference with official procedures” because the driver locked the bus door.
Happily, the situation appears to have been resolved. 2 Chainz jumped on Twitter an hour ago to deny drug charges and reassured fans he will be at the next tour stop on Friday night. That’s a big change from the tweet the rapper sent 10 hours ago when he lamented “I’ve worked to [sic] hard for this”. See his (good natured) Twitter outburst after the jump.
