Somehow, some way, German beat-maker Tensnake has topped his fantastic, Syron-featuring 2012 single “Mainline” by offering up two new infectious songs that keep with his trend of throwback-y dance-pop. The first track, the appropriately-titled “58 BPM,” is an ’80s-leaning slow jam that incorporates smooth synths, a hypnotic beat and the warm vocals of Fiora. This one wouldn’t sound out of place on the electro-heavy Drive soundtrack.
Tensnake also enlists Fiora for the ’90s house-influenced “See Right Through,” which acts as a double A-side of sorts with “58 BPM” on iTunes.” Both tracks signal Tensnake’s move over to Astralwerks.
