Miley Cyrus sought inspiration from seminal ’80s TV show Miami Vice and terrible Tom Cruise star-vehicle Cocktail for her endearingly offbeat Bangerz cover but the rest of the shoot was less whimsical. For example, the 20-year-old grabs her crotch in one high-class image and flashes a white lace thong in another.
The best pictures find the serial twerker in a quirky — as opposed to sexy — mood. Miley looks cute holding a balloons and the black and white close-up showcases her unique beauty. Also, the oddball pic of the “We Can’t Stop” diva holding a bunch of roses is positively ’80s-tastic and really should be the back cover.
