is reason enough to tune in. But now, after hearing “Numbers On The Boards”
and “Who I Am,”
we’ve got a third cold thumper in “Sweet Serenade,” all of which suggests the LP will be a compellingly skeletal dose of menace.
The latest cut has Chris Brown on vocal duties, and while he’s singing about popping champagne and toasting to the life, the organ-and-monk-chant beat is something altogether insular and far from celebratory, making for an interesting juxtaposition. Check it out below.
