During the first day of Philadelphia’s Made in America Festival, the sisters of HAIM made just one request to close their set: “Let’s go out with a bang, alright?” Youngest sister Alana pointed two fingers out to the crowd and then at her crotch, twice, for emphasis.

Other early, high-energy sets followed suit. To kick off “It’s Time,” Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds turned into a human percussion instrument as he clapped on his thighs and chest. A$AP Rocky showed up to his set 23 minutes late, but when he did, he kept pacing and instructing the crowd to raise its hands in between spurts of raps.

Watch A$AP Rocky’s (very, short) set up top, then check out snippets of HAIM and Imagine Dragon’s performances after the jump.
