M.I.A. tricked us all when she tweeted the sunny intro to “Come Walk With Me”. We had no idea her new single was a wildly experimental joyride through a wide array of genres until it hit iTunes yesterday (September 3).
Finding an equally original lyric video would have been near impossible for anyone else but it goes without saying that the Matangi diva pulled it off effortlessly.
The trippy animated clip is populated by Hindu deities, floating temples and romantic Parisian skyline. It boggles the mind to think what M.I.A. will come up with for the real clip. Watch up top.
