Just as Kanye West announced his upcoming Yeezus tour, his “big brother” Jay Z has decided to up the ante by adding a North American leg to his Magna Carta World Tour (did they plan it this way?). These dates will follow up the epic Legends of the Summer stadium tour with Justin Timberlake that conquered the US earlier this year.

The North American trek will hit 33 cities, with its first stop in St. Paul, MN on November 30. Jay Z will also perform at Staples Center in Los Angeles, his lady’s city of Houston and of course his hometown of Brooklyn (for two nights). He’ll wrap up the tour January 31 with a show at Penn State. Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 12.

From the looks of it, there are no opening acts. But Hova is notorious for bringing out special guests at his shows, so a surprise performance is bound to happen. Check out the extended tour dates for the Magna Carta World Tour below.
