Miley Cyrus To Serve As ‘SNL’ Host & Musical Guest October 5, Katy Perry To Perform The Following Week
Saturday Night Live returns September 28 with a revamped cast and the great Tina Fey hosting, with Arcade Fire slated as the musical guest. But pop fans will flock to the season’s second episode on October 5, when Miley Cyrus pulls double duty as host and musical guest. Expect plenty of twerking jokes, tongue-wagging jokes, weed jokes, hair jokes, a Miley Cyrus Show sketch and performances of “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop.”
The 39th season of SNL is shaping up to be a pop paradise. The week after Miley’s stint, Katy Perry will perform as the musical guest on the Bruce Willis-hosted episode, and Lady Gaga is rumored to be returning to the show this fall.
