Demi Lovato To Write Memoir, But First, A Book Based On Her Tweets

Demi Lovato has inked a multi-book deal with Macmillan, who announced the deal yesterday. The “Heart Attack” songbird and X Factor judgestress will be writing at least two books — notably, a memoir, which should explore the particulars of her struggles with drug addiction and mental health issues (super excited for that), but also a book called Staying Strong: 365 Days A Year. That title will be a sort of daily calendar with entries of Demi’s “most honest, brave and hopeful insights” featuring “her own words, with quotes that inspire her, as well as personal reflections and goals.” Reportedly, it’s loosely based on her tweets, which makes it sound slightly less promising, but her very own daily meditation book sounds pretty cool.

Still, given how transparent she’s been about her journey through addiction and recovery, the memoir sounds like the best thing of all.

Expect Staying Strong to hit shelves in November.
