Up-and-coming UK singer John Newman has twice topped the singles chart in his home country — the first time being last summer, as a featured vocalist on Rudimental‘s “Feel The Love”; the second, earlier this year with his debut single “Love Me Again” (which you can actually snatch up on US iTunes). Now he’s prepping the release of his first LP, Tribute, which will arrive in the UK on October 14. The 11-track album contains new single “Cheating” (catch the video below) and the whole thing was co-produced by the soulful Newman.

If the praises we’ve been singing for this guy don’t quite have you convinced yet, consider that even Disney songstress Bridgit Mendler has been taken by his voice. “The song that I’m seriously vibing right now is John Newman, ‘Love Me Again’,” Mendler told us recently. “So great! It gets me pumped up.”

Catch the trailer for John Newman’s debut LP Tribute (plus the tracklist), as well as his video for “Cheating,” below.
