After collaborating on The Weeknd‘s Thursday cut “The Zone” and ”Crew Love” off Drake‘s sophomore record Take Care, it seems like the third time’s the charm for the two Toronto buddies. Their latest collaboration “Live For,” off Weeknd’s Kiss Land debut, now has chilling visuals to accompany the already-gloomy single. The dark clip (both literally and figuratively) find the pair exploring an abandoned warehouse as Japanese symbols flash on the screen.
While “Live For” may not be the best song on The Weeknd’s new album, the singer always finds a way to strengthen his sonic concepts with interesting and moody visuals. The Weeknd is currently on tour supporting Kiss Land (released on September 10), with Drake following up with his third album release Nothing Was The Same - out on September 24.
