Kanye West Charged In July Paparazzi Attack
Could this be the fall of Yeezus? Kanye West has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft in relation to a July incident with a paparazzo, where the rapper (and new dad, oh dear) popped off on an overzealous photographer at LAX. TMZ reports that while both crimes are misdemeanors, he could be facing up to a year in jail, which would not be a good look for Kim Kardashian.
The paparazzo (smartly) hired attorney Gloria Allred, who claims that her client was badly injured in the assault.
That said, paparazzi are scum and it certainly seems like the guy was baiting poor ‘Ye, so it’s hard to root for him.
Yeezy will be arraigned October 10.
