8 Women Who Are About To Pop: Alt-R&B Edition
7. Sinead Harnett
Sinead Harnett has worked with fellow Brits Disclosure and Rudimental, so expect her to make waves Stateside on the coattails of those acts’ recent successes here. But like Jessie Ware before her, it’s clear Harnett is no mere dance track accessory, and is bound to bust out on her own. The first sign came from her strong debut track “Got Me,” a nifty little piece of UK garage-inflected pop, and she has a second single on the way. Both come via Black Butter Records (the same label that released Syron’s debut single), and Harnett’s debut album is due next year on Virgin Records.
