The Spice revolution of 2013 begins with a whimper instead of the hoped-for bang with Mel B‘s terrible “For Once In My Life”. The cheesy dance track premiered today and sounds like something Carly Rae Jepsen would reject for being too insipid. She can do so much better.
On the bright side, the camp video is a lot of fun. Scary Spice embraces her inner-Desperate Housewife, ripping off her clothes to prance down the street in lingerie (that body!), before throwing one hell of a street party. Melanie exudes personality and charm — if only she could get her hands on better material. Oh well. It’s over to you, Geri.
