Bengals Fans Protest Katy Perry’s “Roar” As Team Anthem: Morning Mix

:: The Cincinnati Bengals had decided that the team would enter the field to Katy Perry‘s “Roar” this year. However, due to a social media backlash — fans expected hard-hitting rock, if not Jock Jams — it will no longer feature its “team anthem” as prominently. So much for hearing Perry roar. [WSJ]

:: Mumford & Sons says that it will take a break following its lengthy tour for Babel, several Grammy wins and bassist Ted Dwane‘s brain surgery. Following earlier statements of “a little break,” the band now says, “There won’t be any Mumford & Sons activities for the foreseeable future.” [Rolling Stone]
