One of the big surprises on Cher‘s magnificent Closer To The Truth is a cover of Miley Cyrus‘ “I Hope You Find It”. The emotional ballad, which featured in the twerk-enthusiast’s box office bomb The Last Song, is transformed by the 67-year-old’s soaring vocal and appears to have selected as the follow up to “Woman’s World”.
At least, that’s my best guess after a lyric video unexpectedly surfaced online yesterday (September 24). The clip itself is fairly straightforward but does feature some nice calligraphy. It’s a shame they didn’t just get Cher to tweet the lyrics — that alone would have guaranteed millions of views. Enjoy the pop icon’s latest above.
