Miley Cyrus & Britney Spears Squeal About Strutting In “SMS (Bangerz)” Snippet: Listen

Miley Cyrus has said that she wanted “SMS (Bangerz),” her Bangerz collaboration with Britney Spears, to honor the “Work Bitch” star first and foremost: “She’s got one of those voices that as soon as it comes on everyone in the world knows it’s Britney Spears,” Cyrus said to Capital FM, “and that’s what I wanted.”

Funny enough, Spears is the easiest to hear in a snippet of “SMS (Bangerz)” that surfaced this weekend. After she and Cyrus squeal of strutting, Spears lowers her voice and sings, “Flying high up, I’m a bird, acrophobiac,” before the clip trails off. It sounds as if Cyrus got what she wanted, but it’s also a little odd that Spears would make up words to sing about a fear of heights. It’s Britney, bitch — come on.

Then again, they could just be taunting those who fail to measure up to their iconic stature — who knows. Preview “SMS (Bangerz)” after the jump, while you still can.
