The queen of pop herself (yes, that’s still Madonna, despite what the other divas may think) takes the November cover of Harper’s Bazaar, where she looks ferocious — and a little mean, right? In the very best of ways. She looks like someone not to be trifled with. Make way for #secretprojectrevolution, because this is not a game.
Wearing tons of gold and bronze jewelry against honey-blonde curls and rocking a fierce red lip on a quintessentially Madge pout, the most exciting element of the cover is the corner tag which reads “Exclusive: Madonna By Madonna,” suggesting that we’re going to get not an old-fashioned profile, but maybe some kind of revealing manifesto — or better still, a Q&A where Madonna asks herself questions, because the truth of the matter is that the only person competent to interview Madonna is herself.
