Lady Gaga‘s “Aura” could finally be here after an unusually long birthing period. We first heard a rough demo in early August before Mother Monster debuted a live version in September. A snippet of the finished version then appeared in the Machete Kills trailer but it’s still exciting to hear what is purported to be the finished version of the schizoid EDM adventure in full.

So how does this version of “Aura” sound? Perhaps it has something to do with the extended time period we’ve had to become accustomed to the initially jarring sonic leaps but the song is a much easier pill to swallow now. It sounds cleaner and more cohesive — allowing you to wade through Gaga’s eclectic influences without feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. Listen to the ARTPOP track after the jump.
