A Killer Dog Prowls The Streets In One Republic’s “Something I Need”: Watch The Kooky Video
After a slow start, One Republic are gaining considerable chart momentum with third studio album Native. Previous single “Counting Stars” was the band’s biggest hit in three years and new cut “Something I Need” is already blowing up internationally. All they need is an attention-grabbing video and it arrived today (October 9).
The uplifting Benny Blanco-produced pop song doesn’t sound like an obvious horror movie soundtrack and the clip starts sunnily enough with star-crossed lovers in the park. But then a killer dog arrives and it all goes to shit. Cut to Ryan Tedder singing up a storm in church, corpse mutilation and an unexpected ending. Watch the (kind of) romantic video up top.
