Will.i.am, a person who believed that “Boom Boom Pow” was a good enough song to release as a lead single and tricked America into thinking it was music, has been very busy talking up the new Britney Spears album, which he’s executive-producing. In a new interview with E! Online this morning, he continued to effuse about the upcoming LP, using lots of colorful words to describe it.

“Britney’s record is fresh,” he said. “There’s a lot of personal, sultry songs, as well as grit and edge and oomph… This record, in my opinion, is going to be one of her best records.”

He continued: “I’m really really proud of her and her dedication and how disciplined and focused she was in the studio, and how passionate she is to win.” Given the relative underperformance of “Work Bitch” so far, here’s hoping she has a few other tricks up her sleeve. (Then again, it’s Britney, so of course she does.)

In a statement, everyone in the world replied: “Please, Will, don’t screw this up for us.”
