Ke$ha & Pitbull Cancel Australian Leg Of Tour After “Soft” Ticket Sales

“Timber!” That’s the sound of Ke$ha and Pitbull‘s joint tour crashing down. While the two party poppers successfully completed a tour of the US, the duo has pulled the plug on the Australian leg, allegedly due to weak ticket sales.

The five-date trek was to begin October 30 in Brisbane, but the promoter has pulled the plug with just two weeks’ warning. Billboard points out there have been a string of hip-hop tours that have struggled to gain traction Down Under, but let’s be honest, this is no hip-hop show. This failure is a different phenomenon, no matter how desperate the suits behind K$ and Pit are to pin the blame on nebulous Australian rap trends.

As much as we enjoy a little Pitbull schadenfreude, we hate to see K$ have to suffer through this indignity. Hasn’t the woman suffered enough?!
