Little Mix Get A Little Edgy On “Move” Single Artwork

This is mostly an excuse to write about Little Mix‘s more-excellent-by-the-day new single “Move,” which is standing up surprisingly well to repeat listens — the quirky, likably left-of-center pop belter continues to evoke Sugababes‘ “Overload” and Spice Girls‘ “Wannabe” in its hyper-appealing weirdness. Now, the girls have finally unveiled the cover artwork for the track, which shows — dare I say? — a slightly more grown-up look for the UK four-piece, while staying true to their trendy image.

Leaning heavy on the sultry eye makeup and a lot of aggressive pouting, it’s a departure from the crisp and chipper street style of their first album campaign — and it’s a solid indication that their upcoming sophomore LP Salute, due out November 11, should continue the evolution.

Check it out up top.
