Britney Spears Reveals Eighth Album Title: ‘Britney Jean’
Britney Spears stopped by Britain’s Capital FM to talk about album #8 and revealed the LP’s title in the process. Spears decided to call it Britney Jean — Jean of course being her middle name — and it has a December 3 release date.
“It’s a personal album and, like, all my family, they always call me Britney Jean,” Spears explained, “so it’s a term of endearment and I just wanted to share that with my fans.” The morning show hosts tried to get more details out of her, including whether Miley Cyrus returned the favor with a collab on Britney Jean, but the star was tight-lipped.
