Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally” Gets A Monster Club Remix From Country Club Martini Crew: Listen

Oct 17th, 2013 // 2 Comments

Katy Perry‘s next single “Unconditionally” is one of the early standouts from her upcoming LP Prism, but even that feels a little bit conventional in its form: The production chugs along nicely, but wouldn’t it be great if those lushly inspiring lyrics could be set over a pulsating club beat? Praise be for the ever-reliable Country Club Martini Crew, helmer of unofficial club remixes for Christina Aguilera and P!nk which have now led to official remixes for rising stars like ZendayaIn the space of only about 24 hours, the Brazilian (where else?) DJ turned around a fizzy house mix of “Unconditionally” that’s properly soaring and dancefloor ready.

Expect an official remix package when the single drops properly, but until then, this one is more than sufficient — and it augurs well for the song’s potential status as a dance hit.

this is so much better than the original. no idea what the label was thinking by releasing this as a single. i understand they want to save birthday and how we do for later but legendary lovers would’ve been a better choice

  2. fantastic remix, elevates the song to new nights. i didnt even listen to the original to the end, thought it was safe and boring, but this will be on heavy rotation in the Martini household!
