New Music From Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter V’ “Coming Soon,” Supposedly
In between toying with the idea of retirement and palling around with Paris Hilton, Lil Wayne has apparently begun work on his follow-up to this year’s I Am Not A Human Being II. According to Cash Money’s Senior VP of Promotion, Weezy is set to continue his Carter series with Tha Carter V, and we’ll hear new music from it “soon.”

This fifth installment would be the successor to 2011’s Tha Carter IV, which was successful but ultimately disappointing compared to 2008’s III, which turned Weezy into both a critical and commercial darling.
