America has reached peak Katy Perry saturation levels with today’s release of her new album Prism — at present count, she’s on every billboard, TV show and magazine ever — and the least entry in her promotional arsenal is WPerry takes the cover of the glossy this month looking oh-so-lovely and glammed-up in a couture shoot — on the first cover (above), she’s giving a sexy Marilyn Monroe pillowy pout in a fuzzy pink sweater, while the second is all about the boobs in a sexy cutout white dress. Hear her roar, indeed.

The Q&A inside isn’t her most revealing, although she touches on her relationship with God and self-improvement, themes of which abound on Prism. ““If you are not happy with something, you should change it,” she said. “So I went to a lot of therapy, and finally, I am able to speak up for myself: You are going to hear me roar!” Oh dear.

On the subject of her faith, she got a little metaphysical: “I try and keep my connection with the G-O-D or with a power that’s bigger than me. It’s important—otherwise, you don’t have any kind of accountability. If you think, Hey, at the end of it all I am just going to be dust, or I have no soul or whatever, why not just be a menace to society? For me, accountability works.”

She also confesses that current beau John Mayer was her celebrity crush, and lo and behold, look how it turned out: “I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great.” Aw, shucks.
