Pink Postpones More Shows To Allow For Vocal Rest
Pink has been out on a world tour for the last forty years (approximate guess) promoting her recent album The Truth About Love, but she’s hit a little medical snag: After postponing two concert dates this month (her October 17 show in Salt Lake City and her October 18 show in Denver), she’s now pushing back a few dates on the Canadian leg of her tour so she can give the ol’ pipes a rest.
“It became clear after further consultation with her doctors today that more rest is required for her to fully recover from inflamed vocal cords and laryngitis,” Live Nation Entertainment said in a statement. Boo hiss.
Her scheduled dates in Edmonton on October 23, Saskatoon on October 24 and Winnipeg on October 26 have been rescheduled for January.
As she explained on Twitter:
Thanks for all the support y’all. Not very dramatic- doctor just wants me on complete vocal rest for four days to heal. So I can kick ass.

Both shows rescheduled and very quickly. Touring would be terribly easy if I lip synced. See you soon xo

Leave your guess for who, exactly, she’s shading in that second tweet in the comments.
