Cher Lloyd Publicly Shames L.A. Reid, Swears Up A Storm In Charming Interview: Watch

Well! Cher Lloyd has been busy promoting her new single “I Wish” (seems rather phoned in, though, doesn’t it?) and talking about her new album, but the gloves came off in a little behind-the-scenes video for OK! before her recent performance on Live With Kelly & Michael. In fact, it was the liveliest and most likable side of Lloyd I’ve seen in a minute.

“I am not in the appropriate attire,” she said by way of introduction. “I have a winter scarf on, and I look really shit.” And how was her day going? Let her explain: “This morning I woke up at 5 a.m., which was delightful. I opened the window to have a cigarette, and it was freezing cold. It’s not the nicest feeling in the morning to be freezing your bollocks off. But then I had a Red Bull, opened me eyes, and bam! I’m here.”

But then things take something of a turn when the subject turns to her upcoming LP, titled Sorry I’m Late. “The album, that ain’t out yet,” she said. “I can’t even give you a date on it, cause I’m still waiting on L.A. Reid to give me a date.”

So what’s to be done about that? “Please tweet L.A. Reid and tell him to hurry the F up with my album cause I’m sick of waiting,” she said. “And I’m sure my fans are sick of waiting. Hurry up. It’s all done. It’s all ready. I’ve picked the pictures for it, I’ve put them in the right order. It just needs to go to the factory to be printed out. I don’t know what the big fuss is about, why we’re waiting.”

It’s a little good-natured, but mostly, she seems genuinely frustrated — and who could blame her? Someone, please, throw Cher Lloyd a bone here.
