Taylor Swift Takes Top Nods At American Country Awards
Surprise! Critical and commercial queen Taylor Swift has a millionth feather to add into her (now very heavy) cap, as she’s leading the pack of nominees at the 2013 American Country Awards with eight nominations, including the top honor for Artist of the Year. Blake Shelton and Florida Georgia Line also grabbed a ton of nods, with seven each; those three are each nominated for Artist of the Year, along with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
The show will broadcast live from Las Vegas (not Nashville?) on FOX come December 10, hosted by Trace Adkins (he’s a country singer!) and Danica Patrick (she’s a NASCAR driver, and she’s friends with Avril Lavigne!).
