No word yet on a “Neon Lights” video treatment, but Demi Lovato has given fans a nice stopgap as she juggles a thousand-and-one projects (The X FactorGlee! Touring! Promoting her own music!) by contributing the song “Let It Go” to the soundtrack for the upcoming Disney flick Frozen, and she’s filmed a simple-but-sweet video for the track. In typical soundtrack style, it’s footage of Demi intercut with footage of the film (which doesn’t serve much of a purpose out of context), but the Demetria-centric stuff is lovely.

She looks pretty in a pretty house! She sports some chic outfits! She’s at a piano! She lets some light in and absolutely belts! Yes, Demi. This’ll do.

The song was originally performed by Broadway queen Idina Menzel, but Demi’s powerful pipes absolutely demolish it. Well done, all around.

Watch up top.
