Avicii Tugs At Our Heartstrings In Nostalgic “Hey Brother” Lyric Video: Watch
“Hey Brother” has been announced as the third single from Avicii‘s debut LP True. After the relative underperformance of club-banger “You Make Me”, the Swede has opted for another electro-folk concoction in the vein of “Wake Me Up”. Smart move. The song is already top five in Australia, Sweden and Germany.
The lyric video doesn’t really have a narrative or distinct theme but it evokes a strong feeling of nostalgia with images of men at work (farmers, mechanics etc) and children interspersed with natural wonders and popcorn (I don’t know why either). It’s strangely compelling. Watch up top.
