Jessie J Preps “Thunder” As Next Single: Watch The Lyric Video
Well, it’s not clear exactly what the strategy is for releasing Jessie J‘s sophomore LP Alive in the United States, given the dismal underperformance of “Wild,” but hark! There’s hope yet. The songbird is prepping the Stargate and Benny Blanco-produced monster “Thunder” for her next UK single, and with a little bit of hope, she might just release it stateside, too.
The song has received the lyric video treatment and it’s wonderfully stormy, which works nicely for the properly thunderous track; it sounds like an ’80s movie soundtrack in the very best way, all tribal drums, clattering synths and soaring vocals.
Watch it up top and pray for a little justice for Jessie, who surely deserves better than “Wild.”
