Living rap gods Kanye West and Lil Wayne join the legendary Q-Tip and his old pal Busta Rhymes on Busta’s YMCMB-G.O.O.D. Music detente piece “Thank You.” The soulful “#TwerkIt” follow-up, off E.L.E. 2, finds Bussa Bus and Tip trading quick and dirty verses like they were transported right back to The Low End Theory, and Alicia Myers‘ sampled hook from “I Want To Thank You” breaks things up. With lyricism again the focus in hip-hop, Busta clearly couldn’t have picked a better time to return.

Unfortunately, Kanye and Weezy, the respective label founders, serve only as hype men on the track. But, it looks like Ye will at least appear in the music video, which was helmed by Director X. Back in August, following the 2013 MTV VMAs, Busta, Yeezy and Q-Tip linked up to shoot the video, but there was no sign of Weezy.
