Kanye West Pleads Not Guilty In Laughable Paparazzi Case

Kanye West has pleaded not guilty to bogus misdemeanor charges of criminal battery and attempted grand theft following a laughably benign run-in with a paparazzo at LAX in July. How do I know it was benign and the charges are bogus? Well, because there’s video of the whole thing and it’s about as violent as a dude trying (and failing) to give his younger bro a purple nurple, and also because the dirtbag pap involved (who is most certainly a dirtbag) WAS SMILING during the confrontation. #factsonly

Anyway, if convicted on both charges, West faces a maximum of one year behind bars. If there’s any semblance of order in this world, he’ll avoid that fate, but he may not be able to avoid some sort of financial payment: the photog hired publicity crone Gloria Allred as his attorney and they’ve already filed the civil suit. Kanye, please just walk away next time. No need to go H.A.M. when you can wear one of those masks.
