Third D3gree Drop Captain Cuts-Produced Debut Single “Different Kind Of Love”

The just-finished season of X Factor Australia has already produced some great music. Korean-born Dami Im struck a blow for racial diversity by reaching number one in Oz with DNA-produced winner’s single “I’m Alive”, while 14-year-old Jai Waetford caught Justin Bieber‘s attention with the smooth bubble gum pop of “Your Eyes”.

Fourth place-getters Third D3gree also nabbed a record deal and Sony put them on a very different path by tapping LA-based producers Captain Cuts for the trio’s Black Eyed Peas-influenced electro-pop/hip-hop concoction “Different Kind Of Love”.

It’s a wild track for talent show alumni with quirky breakdowns and voice effects but everything clicks after a couple of listens and it becomes completely addictive. Listen after the jump.
