Lady Gaga & R. Kelly To Perform “Do What U Want” At American Music Awards
While on the red carpet before her artRAVE album release event Sunday (November 10), Lady Gaga let slip that R. Kelly will be joining her to perform “Do What U Want” at this month’s American Music Awards. “R. Kelly will be there. Oh I’m not supposed to say that. Oh I said it anyway. Oh well. Sorry, Robert,” she told Music Choice. “But he’ll be there and we’re gonna perform ‘Do What U Want.’ We have a great chemistry when we perform together.”
Gaga has turned out a few stirring renditions of the standout ARTPOP track in recent weeks, but this will be the first time Kells joins her live for the duet. Miley Cyrus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, One Direction and more will also perform at the 2013 AMAs, and Pitbull is hosting the affair, which airs November 24 on ABC.
