Well, those days are well and truly over as evidenced by Sia uploading a director’s cut of her “Elastic Heart” lyric video. (Spoiler: it’s the same video without the words!)
The Aussie singer-songwriter’s soaring collaboration with The Weeknd and Diplo is beyond reproach but this visual feels beneath it. In a nutshell, a woman dressed as Sia chain smokes, changes clothes and wanders around Los Angeles looking depressed — making this adventure strictly for hardcore fans. Or wig enthusiasts.
