When you really want to turn the sex dial up to 11 in your music, you bring in one Robert Kelly. Because when it comes to making raunch sound suave, nobody tops R. Kelly. Which is why everyone from Jay Z to Kid Rock to Celine Dion has tapped into his sexual swagger over the years, and now the new school is bringing him in for his panty-dropping prowess, as we heard on new collaborations from Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

Gaga’s primal “Do What U Want” duet with Kelly is not only a highlight of ARTPOP, but one of the best songs of her entire career. As for Bieber, he’s been presenting himself as a true student of R&B with his #MusicMondays releases, and he brought in the master on “PYD” to help him shed his teeny-bopper past once and for all, as the two guys sing about getting fresh with their gals in just about any setting imaginable.
